2026 Update! - The Precise Museum Post
Happy New Year everyone!
Thank You!
First off, we wanna give a big thank you to everyone who’s been enjoying our Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary patch. Your support helps keep us going and we’re so excited to help get these games out to an English audience!
New Members!
We’re welcoming 5 new members who’ve joined our team! They’ve already been a tremendous help.
- BoltGSR - Translator
- JaxOfAllSpades - Apprentice Translator
- Xkower8181 - Programmer
- Sakimotor - Programmer
- Tasos500 - Programmer
Needless to say, with all these new members we’re making steady progress on our Fever 2 patch almost every week, so we kindly ask for your patience.
New Leadership?!
After 7+ years of being the group manager for Precise Museum, Ingu is stepping down to pursue other ventures. We’ll miss them greatly and wish them the best on wherever life takes them! As a final message to our audience and the team, Ingu had this to say:
Ingu
I never imagined this group would get so big! There’s a lot I learned while setting up the structure of this group, and I really do have a deep appreciation for how much work and time goes into even the simplest things now. Looking back, my ideas for the projects this group would cover were probably too ambitious for what was actually feasible, but we still managed to complete patches for 3 major games. I have faith that the team going forward under Nico will finish the patch for Fever 2, and I’m sure it’ll be just as good (if not better!) than our previous releases. There’s a lot to look forward to, for sure!
To the members of Precise Museum: Thanks for working with me for 7+ years! We’ve somehow managed to accomplish every major project that we’ve set out to do, which is a feat in of itself. Thanks for all your work and expertise — this would’ve never been possible as a solo effort!
Take care, everyone, and remember to focus on what you find fun and to keep scale in mind for each thing you try to make!
As Ingu mentioned, Precise Museum is now under the leadership of… Nico! I’m writing this right now! Hi guys! I’ve been with Precise Museum for about 5 years now, and first joined around when the Chronicle patch was somewhat close to finishing development. I’ve been a proofreader, image editor, video editor, and playtester for Precise Museum thus far. I’m very excited and promise to do my best to ensure the standard of quality Precise Museum translations have. The team and I have put in a ton of work for this group and don’t plan on stopping now! I hope you’re looking forward to our future releases!
I’ve also appointed Madelyn, our proofreader and pollrunner, as our Assistant Manager! She’s been an incredible help at creating documents for Fever 2, getting polls organized, and much more! Would you like to introduce yourself Maddy?:
Madelyn
Hello, I am the lovely and splendid Princess, Madelyn Himegami. I’ve only been a member of Precise Museum for a little over a year– just in time to playtest the Puyo 20th patches for 3DS and PSP. Since then, I’ve been doing as much as I can to help aid the development process of the Fever 2 translation patch up to now, and hope to continue to do my best going forward. It is a pleasure to meet you all.
In addition to proofreading and pollrunning, my duties involve assisting Nico in keeping communications among our group members open and active. I help with directing our programmers; and I help oversee the process of translating, editing, and localizing the text with our translators and proofreaders.
Fever 2 is a deceptively complex game, and I’m proud of the progress we’ve made over the past year. I hope you’re all looking forward to it!
Our Website is Fully Merged!
After our Tumblr was destroyed for no real reason (which is back up now), we began migrating all of our original posts onto this website to eventually use it as our main platform for releases and projects. We’d of course still post to our other social media if we had any updates, but… as of now, all of our old blog posts have been officially merged onto this site! Big shoutouts to team members Deltrix, Eudae and Ingu for helping get this complete. Everything from our Projects page should also be working correctly now.
We still need to do some major clean-up on our tags, fix our YouTube descriptions filled with dead links, (potentially) add our old Fever Carbuncle background to this site (he’s irreplaceable), and more. We’ll be chipping away at this on the side. If you happen to find any bugs, errors, typos or dead links on our website, please contact us from our Contact page.
And now onto the news you’ve been waiting for…
Fever 2 Progress Update!!!
Visually, there’s not much we can show at the moment, but there has been a lot of under the hood progress being made in just about every corner.
- Translation & Proofreading: Currently, Amitie, Raffina, & Sig’s routes are complete and inserted in-game.
- Image Editing: We’ve just wrapped up translations on all of the images in the game for our image editors to work on.
- Programming: Lots of ASM wizardry. Lots of text insertion. Our text font is now mostly working properly, with only a couple full-width characters creating awkward spacing issues. We’re currently tinkering with the idea of adding additional pages into the Museum books to fit more ENG text.
As always, you can check up on the status of our patch in the future through our In-Progress page.
